Winter adventures include excursions by reindeer, dog sledge, snowmobiles, snowshoes, and Northern Lights visits. Summer adventures include glacier hiking, sea fishing, mountain-biking, canoeing, and experiencing the Sami culture. All adventures are situated at driving distance from downtown Tromsø.
During the summer of 2007, world renowned Norwegian musician Morten Harket visited Lyngseidet. During his stay at Sørheim Brygge, he used him time for song writing, fishing and recreation. Harket was extremely satisfied with his stay at Sørheim Brygge, describing the resort as “Perfect conditions in fantastic nature!"
